Mechanical properties of rocks such as uniaxial compressive strength, tensile shear strength are the that determine their behavior under load. These often determined by difficult, complex, time-consuming and expensive test methods. Therefore, instead determining these directly, can be estimated indirectly using relatively inexpensive, fast easily applicable The surface hardness parameter Schmidt hammer rebound is fast, easy to apply concrete. It also used mechanical rocks. seen two different types hammers (N-type L-type) with impact energies commonly in literature. In this study correlations between obtained N-type L-type were analyzed. For purpose, data compiled from studies literature, which included both rock types, collected analyzed statistically. Coefficients have been proposed for conversion each other.
